One Screen Instead of Aggregator Tablets
Accept Yandex Eats, Uzum Tezkor and Wolt orders on one screen with no tablets and send them to the POS automatically. Setup, price and what to check.
Aggregator integration accepts orders from platforms like Yandex Eats, Uzum Tezkor and Wolt on one screen, without tablets, and passes them to the POS by itself. There is no separate tablet for each aggregator next to the register, and the cashier doesn't rewrite orders.
Aggregators are useful for new customers, but working with them adds extra work and a source of errors. This article shows what the problem looks like and how the solution works.
Key points:
- You no longer need a separate tablet for each aggregator: orders are on one screen.
- Orders reach the POS automatically, so manual entry and mistakes go away.
- Menu and stop-list are synced to aggregators too.
Why is working with tablets hard?
Each aggregator has its own tablet and app. When an order arrives, it is confirmed on the tablet, then the cashier types it into the POS by hand. If several orders arrive at once at peak time, the cashier gets confused and an order is delayed or forgotten.
Extra problems: when a dish runs out, the stop-list must be set on every tablet separately. When a price changes, it is updated in each aggregator cabinet. When there is a mistake, it is hard to find which tablet it came from. This is one view of the problem of scattered tools.
How does the integration work?
Delever connects to the aggregator through an API. When a customer orders on the aggregator, the order is accepted automatically, appears on the Delever screen and goes to the POS. The cashier and kitchen see it in one list with orders from other channels.
An order can also be cancelled from the system, so there is no need to open the tablet. Connection to the POS is described in a separate article.
How do menu and stop-list update?
Menu and stop-list are passed from one source to aggregators too. When a dish runs out in the POS, it also closes at the aggregator, so the customer doesn't order a sold-out dish. You don't have to update the menu separately in each aggregator cabinet.
Which aggregators connect?
Delever works with Yandex Eats, Uzum Tezkor, Wolt, Bolt Food and other aggregators. Confirm the exact list with the Delever team before connecting, because aggregators and their API terms change.
How much does it cost?
In Delever the module for one aggregator costs 260,000 UZS per month per branch, and all aggregators in one window cost 650,000 UZS per month per branch. In addition there is a 3.9 million UZS deposit for aggregator integration, which is spent against monthly payments.
For comparison: aggregator commission is 15–35% of the order amount. This module does not reduce commission: it reduces work time and mistakes. To reduce commission you need your own channel: aggregator commission vs own delivery.
What else does one screen give you?
Since every channel is in one system, you can compare aggregators with each other and with your own channels: it is visible which channel brings how many orders, what average check and what profit. This saves you from assembling reports by hand. We wrote about analytics by channel separately.
Conclusion
- Count how many tablets you use now.
- Write down how much time each tablet takes.
- Move aggregator orders to one screen and sync the stop-list.
